Terms of Service – Myriam Translates

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Myriam Translates (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Myriam Translates provides:

  • Short-form video repurposing (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) from client-provided content

  • Captioning and subtitle services

  • Optional translation and subtitling (English ↔ French)

  • Optional long-form translation services on request

All services are delivered digitally.

We do not provide filming, original content creation, or long-form video editing.

2. Subscription Plans

Our Clip packages (Start, Grow, Pro) are sold as monthly subscriptions.

Each plan includes a fixed number of short clips per month as described on our website and checkout pages.

Subscriptions:

  • Are billed monthly in advance

  • Renew automatically unless cancelled

  • Are subject to a minimum commitment period if specified at checkout

Your subscription begins on the date of purchase.

3. Cancellation & Termination

Unless otherwise stated at checkout:

  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time with 30 days’ written notice

  • Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period

  • No refunds are issued for partially used months

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if:

  • The client breaches these Terms

  • The client fails to provide required materials

  • The client engages in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior

4. No Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable.

Due to the digital and service-based nature of our work, we do not offer refunds for:

  • Work already delivered

  • Work in progress

  • Unused clips or unused subscription time

By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide lawful, original or licensed content

  • Ensure you own or have rights to all submitted material

  • Deliver content in a usable format (video files, links, scripts if applicable)

  • Provide feedback within the revision period

We are not responsible for delays caused by missing or late materials.

6. Revisions

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds.

Revisions apply to:

  • Caption wording

  • Subtitle timing

  • Clip selection (within reason)

Revisions do not include:

  • Complete re-editing

  • New creative direction

  • Rebuilding clips from scratch

Additional revisions may be billed separately.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your original content.

By submitting content, you grant Myriam Translates a limited license to edit, transform, and repurpose the material for the purpose of delivering the service.

We reserve the right to showcase anonymized or credited examples of our work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

8. Turnaround Times

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Late submissions

  • Technical issues

  • Platform outages

  • Force majeure events

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Myriam Translates shall not be liable for:

  • Lost revenue

  • Missed posting schedules

  • Platform performance

  • Algorithm results

  • Business outcomes

Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the current billing period.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your subscription.
